Privacy

Gridget keeps your game on your device. We only count visits, anonymously and without cookies.

In short

What stays on your device

Your grid size, your theme, your best times, the boards you have finished and your last 20 results are saved in your browser's local storage, on this device only. They are never sent anywhere. Clearing this site's data in your browser, or uninstalling the app, deletes them.

Visit counts

To know whether people play Gridget, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. When the game page loads, a small script from Cloudflare sends one report with:

It doesn't use cookies or local storage, doesn't give you an ID and doesn't fingerprint your device, so a visit can't be linked to you or followed to other sites. We only see totals, such as visits per day or per country. Nothing about your games is sent: no boards, times or scores.

The reports are handled by Cloudflare, Inc., which may process them in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. If you block the script, for example with a content blocker, the game works exactly the same.

What Gridget doesn't do

Hosting

The game's files are served by Firebase Hosting, a Google service. Like any web host, it may process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the files and keep the service secure. After your first visit the game is stored on your device and works offline.

Sharing

When you share a result, the image and text go only where you choose, through your device's share menu or clipboard.

Microsoft Store

The Microsoft Store version is the same app and follows this policy. Downloads and updates through the store are handled by Microsoft.
